Hi folks! I'm hoping that someone can help me out;
I've got a GeForce 6800 Ultra, and it works great - EXCEPT, when I try to use it with my 4-head Appian Pro graphics card (which is PCI).
When I was running my ATI 9800 (and even and older NVidia TNT card), they all worked well together in peace and harmony But now when I try to use the Appian card and the GeFoce 6800, I get the following error for the card (in the Device Manager):
This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
When I take the Appian card out, the 6800 works fine - when I take the 6800 out, the Appian card works fine.
Most of the scouring I've done on the net suggests that there may be too many extra hardware systems being used, like motherboard stuff, such as sound cards, com ports, etc.
I've gone into the BIOS and disabled the on-board sound card, the game port, and the COM ports (since I dont use them) to no avail.
Does anyone else have any suggestions? Help would be greatly appreciated...!
This is a Pentium 4 2.8 Gig system with 1.5 Megs of ram, tons of hard drive space, both PATA and SATA drives (on board stuff), and Windows XP with the latest patches...
