I have a msi fx 5700 le 256 that claims to have a feature called dynamic overclocking technology. What is that and how do you obtain it? I heard that this card has great overclocking potential but what would be a safe overclock for this card? Currently it is set at 240mhz core and 400 mhz memory- Someone please help me out. Thank you.

Yeah, I looked it up on the msi site. The site will tell you everything about it except how to get it and use it. It makes no sense to me, all I know is that the card says that it has this feature. Do you know what would be a good overclock with this card? I know that it can go much higher than what it is set at.

Dont waste your time looking for it.

D.O.T. on MSI is just Overclocking Presets you can choose and try. You can find them on Video Properties on MSI CLOCK part. It begins with Private and ends with Comander, higher the rank Higher the OC rate. Wich MSI dont tell is how stable will your video Card be depending on the rank of DOT and i dont think they'll warrantie if you burn your card by setting it on Comander. What you can do is to begin with private and keep trying with higher ranks (till you burn it :p, J K) while you check the temp on the card (with the Turbo Experience Software that came on your drivers CD), and the stability for shure.
I have an MSI Ti4200 but DOT is not enabled, i just increase the core and mem to a Ti4400 (or 4800SE) and its working very Fine ( its a 25mhz increase).
So, you most try....and dont get influenced by complex names on simple things.
