Dell Inspiron 1545 only breathing.

Hi I have a Dell 1545 and I took it apart carefully... removed the DDR just to have a inquisitive perusal I put it back in. I also looked at my hard drive as well cleaning it off... and with the CDRW Drive but now it wont boot up. It fires up the fans to cool the power input I presume but the screen remains blank. Also when turning it on and off there is no delay like before it just goes off. I do also have a depleted battery but running it through mains didnt change it. Thank you if you did read this please help me!

I would open it up and make sure the ribbon cables are all in properly. Also did you remember to discharge yourself of static?

ahh... well no I didnt... But I was right before my laptop cleaning my desktop tower out and I'm still here typing and it works fine... I cant understand why it would affect the laptop and not the desktop tower

I doubt thats what happened, still a possibility but not a very likely one.

First I would try reseating the ram a few times. If it still doesn't work I would try checking the internal cableing once again.
