I have a msi5700le and would like to know what is the big difference in this one as opposed to the 5700 or the 5700 ultra. How can you make this card perform like one of those cards? I know it can be done with the proper cooling etc. Could someone please tell me the way to so called convert this card into a 5700 ultra for example? With ddr 256 you should get more than 250mhz out of it shouldnt you?

simply use the coolbits registry trick and overclock your card! You will, at least see, improvements.

Yeah, I have the coolbits overclocker, but what should you overclock it to? I do not want to burn it up, just get maximum performance. Anybody know how much one of these cards can handle?

Don't be afraid to try!

Generally, you can try increasing in step of 5MHz the memory and/or the core speed. Run some benchmark like 3dMark or AquaMark, if your PC don't crash and you don't see any artifacts (pixel with wrong colors) you are OK!

When you think you have found your GPU limit, run a benchmark in loop for a couple of hour to see if your system is stable. If you experience CRASH, lower your GPU/MEM speed a bit. It's quite easy and not risky.

Not really, your card can do the same thing with the help of coolbits or OC software utility. Now for those LE models I know that most of them have crappy coolers on them so that may require an upgrade.
