I ordered up some of the pigtail fuses to replace the blown one in the power
supply but it keeps blowing them. What should I look for? Nothing is
obvious from looking at the power supply pcb. I put a different power
supply in the cabinet and it works great.

Is it worth trying to fix this thing or should I dump it and buy a new power
supply?

Agreed, you can get them from TNT, used for $6 or so
