Something very awkward has happened to me after I installed W2000 pro and it is the first time and it had never happened to me ever before.
The thing is that I installed it on a PII 350 - 256RAM.
Everything worked perfectly but, after finishing the installation the DATE/TIME was set to January 1 - 1601 !!!!!!!!!!!! my god !! the renaissance !!! can you belive that??
I change it, but everytime I restart it sets back to the middle Ages and there's a pop up error saying, naturally, that the DATE TIME is not set correctly.....
I checked the BIOS clock and date but they are correctly set....so I don't know what to do....
THis is unheard of....

can you help me??

I tried all that, of course. As I told in the first post, there is no problem to change the date and set it right. But when I reboot or shut down or whatever, when I start it again, it sets itself back to "the reanaissance" 1601 !!!

this is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me.
I installed the same W2000 pro in many other computers and it has always gone PERFECTLY....

I'm trying to find an answer on the hardware side, but at least I guess it can't be the battery otherwise the clock and date of the BIOS would have trouble but they are ok, they are both set right....

This is really puzzling....
