I am trying to install a new printer (software) however I get an error
advising me that another installtion is already in progress, which there
isn't. I have removed all external devices such as previous printer,
scanner, and digital camera and their software but the error message still
comes up. If I click on "Add Hardware" through windows, it also advises me
that there is another installation in progress. How do I find this bogus
installation and kill it?

I am running Windows XP Home. I couldn't get anything to come up when I type
TASKLIST. Could I also see this by CLT+ALT+DEL?
