39 in 1 jamma board, where to buy?

I've been asked to build a couple of cocktail games using the 9 in 1
board that I used to be able to get from Arcadeshop.com, but they no
longer carry this item. Seems they're replaced it with the
programmable board, but of course it doesn't yet support the Namco
classics, which is primarily what my customers are looking for. If
someone has a contact, where I could buy at least 2 of these boards,
please let me know. I also heard that there might have been two
versions or this? One having some issues with sound and video quality
vs the other. If there is any clarification on this, I'd be happy to
hear that. Also, if anyone has the 9 in 1 boards and wants to sell
them, I'd also be interested in those as well. Thanks
Vinny

I hope to have new verisions coming out soon

Ive got a prototype testing in my cabinet as we speak and another
version in the final stages.

If all goes as planned youll see these boards at prices unheard of
anywhere.

Thats all the info I have right now. Stay tuned the next 2-3 weeks. I
wont answer any emails until such time Im ready to release.

Then full cabinet art will follow

Cool Darin,
Will yours be programmable? Also, will it have a similar menu as
Stevens?

Thanks. Look forward to getting one of these babies.

Is this a vertical or horizontal release? I've been wondering when a
horizontal multiboard, besides multiwilliams, was going to surface.

Cool, I guess I'll hold onto that horizontal midway cocktail I have then.
Thanks for entertaining the few questions on the group. It's hard to
release news like that and not get bombarded with questions.

This is not a slam at your price because it seems competitive with what
everyone else is asking, but I keep wondering when the price of these
multi-boards will come down. They have few parts and aren't paying
royalties for the ROMs, so where is the cost in these?

They are roughly down to $400 shipped nowadays for the 39-1. Thats a price
break from the $550 they were.

Doesn't matter what the cost is... its what the market will pay... (screw
Regan and his demand side economics... for some things it just doesn't
matter).

I'm sure they can sell them cheaper (although it's not necessarily cheap to
get a multi-layer board, populate it, test it, etc... when you're at fairly
low quantities...), but then they''d have to make up in volume what they are
loosing in margin... something that's probably difficult since this is a
hobby-nitch device.
