Hi, I'm about to buy an hp dv6z-7000 series laptop, and I need to know what graphics to get with it. Since the CPU is the new a10 and has an integrated radeon hd 7660g, I was thinking about running dual graphics. My main question is will an hd 7670m run crossfire with an integrated 7660g on hp laptops? I'd also like to know the approximate performance of this. I've heard the when running cfx, the performance matches a gt 650m. Is this true?

Solution
Yes the 7660g+7670m crossfire is the equivalent of a Gt 540m. I have the DV6z-7000 with A10-4600m and 7670m the temperature, battery life, and performance are all very very nice for the price. I paid $625 with discounts including tax.

Of a 540m, do you mean 650m?
