Alienware Graphics Array

I would believe most of you would have heard of this before. My question is, would workstation cards benefit much from this in terms of reducing rendering time and realtime processing of complex objects ? for eg ... ATI FireGL 7100 or nVidia Quadro FX 4000..

not much unless ya use heavy shaders. CPU and ram is more important while rendering, But in the view ports you will have able to do higher detial meshes.
