I just wondered why my friend can´t watch movies (AVI) on her computer, she can watch DVD´s. I thought that it could be cause it was Apple who creatted that format and since Microsoft are so arrogant, it might be that, that makes it a little complicated.
What should she do? Should she download codecs, and wich ones?
I´d be really greatfull with any reply

AVI format are well supported on any media player for PC. Have you try to play them through Real Player or QuickTime Player?

It's tricky to use words like <b><font color=green>AMD</font color=green></b> or <b><font color=blue>Intel</font color=blue></b> in a signature some users could think your are biased.

Just go here: <A HREF="http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/" target="_new">http://www.k-litecodecpack.com/</A>
Download the Mega Codec Pack, and She'll have a Windows Media Player Classic that plays everything.

(I think it was GreatGrapeApe who first pointed this one out to me - so thank him, not me.... )
