Help? Windows Error?

sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this, but on my computer I keep on
getting this error, every day on my computer, well its not a window or
anything that pops up on the screen, but every once in a while I get this
real quick beep noise and then my computer screen dims grey and displays the
Please Wait box

and it display this at random time on my computer and then resets my start
menu appear back to the default windows classic style, I was wondering if it
is a virus or some type of bug i have, could someone please help me?

Sounds like it could be a virus - what does your anti-virus software say?

I would check for a virus and for spyware and see if that helps
