I would like to know how to uninstall & then reinstall windows xp home
edition. I do not have a previous operating system on my pc. I already have
all of my important files on disk & I have all the software from DELL to
reinstall everything. How do I get started?

The reason why I want to unistall then reinstall windows xp is because of
this annoying adware pop up that won't go away. I use aol broadband. Iv'e
turned off the popups in aol & in internet explorer and still keep getting
various popus from a particlar company. In the top lefthand side of the
popup is a small globe with the word Aurora next to it. Has anyone seen this
before & know how to get rid of it? maybe all I need to do is uninstall &
reinstall internet explorer.

Hi

Before you reinstall, please try the following programs to search for any
spyware that may be on
your system:

Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://forum.aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com

Try SpyWareBlaster to stop intrusions:
