I need a little help with a lag issue on my 9800 pro.

When playing some games (it's most noticable in BF1942 and SW:KotoR so far) I get a little lag/pause every 2-3 minutes that lasts for about 2 seconds. I've tried all kinds of settings, high and low, but the lag keeps repeating like clockwork. All my drivers and whatnot are current and other than this lag everything runs super smooth and I've got no other problems.

System Specs:
Soyo CK8 Dragon Plus mobo
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Ultra 512mb pc2700 ram
ATI Radeon 9800pro 128mb
Windows XP pro SP1

Anyone have any idea what's happening and how I can fix it up?

uh just a tought you have any softwae to check your temps.
I doubt its the problem but maybe some part get a bit to warm and throttle itself or just cause a little hickup.

What PSU?

In my experience intermitent problem are generally cause by temp or current fluctuation...
