It is forsale on NewEgg, plus you can buy it from Evga.com direct for $299. But I have yet to see any reviews on the 12 pipeline core. Has anybody bought this card? Does anybody else think that it might be possible to activate the other pipes? For $299, with the chance to overclock, and maybe be able to activate the other 4 pipes, I wonder if this might be the next value card.... if you can call 300 bucks a value.

Sofar no published reports of a way to enable the dormant/dead pipes, I don't know if it's even possible (depends on how they are disabled/detected).

Here's recent reviews from Digit-Life and Firing Squad (X800 review but with 6800 benchies) to help you out;
