Solution
Yea but a GTX 670 is on board with the laptop he posted... Anyways, nah i am not really bottleneck since i have it at 4GHZ on the cpu. And if you pay 550$ for that specs of a laptop... Bro best deal i have heard all year

I'm actually buying it & I have my buddy at $550, think you estimate it's value in half a year, or would that be virtually impossible. I'm a desktop man mostly so I want a second opinion on it.

Laptop for gaming on the go. I could easily price a desktop without second guessing, but a laptop just isn't something I haven't did much research other than benchmarks. I'd like to say, however, that's one hell of a rig you got there, but your cpu isn't bottlenecking your gpu?

Oh, I see, I'm still understanding bottlenecking vs power & vs quantity (via cpu). In any note I'd have to thank you both & especially to Rockdpm for the prestigious award for my charm to get this amazing prize.
I'm probably going to play crysis on high setting & maybe bf3 multi on what ever I can get. Thanks!

Yea you can do BF3 and Crysis easily on that laptop. i doubt ultra but its possible. And glad we could help!... If you have some questions about computers. Send me a PM. I specialize in Graphics and displays and have some experience in minor trouble shooting

I'll be glad to get your opinion at least on my next build, don't currently have one as I don't have a job & am going to college, but do you think Crysis or Crysis 2 will play on high without AA? The benchmarks say that they will... but a second opinion always helps. What about BF3 Multiplayer on high w/o AA?

Alright thanks! That is great news for me, I'm a big fan of what crytek offers plus I'm going to be using Cryengine3 SDK so I'm sure it'll run that as well. You got the best answer and I'm gonna leave the thread here. I'll be sure to contact you when I'm getting ready for my next build! Thanks for your help!

That is an amazing deal even for a used laptop from a buddy! I am surprised he is selling, it sounds like it is only a year old! And with those specs I would expect him to have some knowledge about computers, well enough to know that he is selling that thing cheap! haha! :D

yep originally bought 04/13/11. He said all he wanted was a little relief on his wallet after buying his desktop parts & I told him about it being cheap. I'll sell it to you for $800 though :D

It was just a joke :p, I'm not gonna sell it since I couldn't get a better computer for that price so there is really no point. Something better looking would be nice, msi gt680r I believe is the model with the same specs, but better, extremely better, looking.
