  1. What is the model of this laptop?
  2. ProPower R 11 36, built of a MSI 16F2
  3. I believe it has 8 gb of ram aswell
  4. I'd price it at 950. If it doesn't sale, Drop it to 750-850. Most ones i see online are over a grand
  5. I'm actually buying it & I have my buddy at $550, think you estimate it's value in half a year, or would that be virtually impossible. I'm a desktop man mostly so I want a second opinion on it.
  6. ah, you are you trying to decide on a desktop or laptop. Or are you just looking to get a laptop for gaming on the go and desktop for home base
  7. Laptop for gaming on the go. I could easily price a desktop without second guessing, but a laptop just isn't something I haven't did much research other than benchmarks. I'd like to say, however, that's one hell of a rig you got there, but your cpu isn't bottlenecking your gpu?
  8. Disregard my previous post.

I was too slow to respond with similar info that's been posted after me. One of the negatives of working from an iPad ;)
  9. Didn't even see it Dingo, but what is better about this laptop is it has Win7 Ultimate, but the original disk & act. codes have been lost.

Yea but a GTX 670 is on board with the laptop he posted... Anyways, nah i am not really bottleneck since i have it at 4GHZ on the cpu. And if you pay 550$ for that specs of a laptop... Bro best deal i have heard all year
  11. For $550 it's an excellent buy - depending what u want to do with it
  12. Oh, I see, I'm still understanding bottlenecking vs power & vs quantity (via cpu). In any note I'd have to thank you both & especially to Rockdpm for the prestigious award for my charm to get this amazing prize.
I'm probably going to play crysis on high setting & maybe bf3 multi on what ever I can get. Thanks!

  14. Yea you can do BF3 and Crysis easily on that laptop. i doubt ultra but its possible. And glad we could help!... If you have some questions about computers. Send me a PM. I specialize in Graphics and displays and have some experience in minor trouble shooting

I'll be glad to get your opinion at least on my next build, don't currently have one as I don't have a job & am going to college, but do you think Crysis or Crysis 2 will play on high without AA? The benchmarks say that they will... but a second opinion always helps. What about BF3 Multiplayer on high w/o AA?
  16. Yea I am 99% sure you have more than enough to do high settings on crysis with that laptop. with or without aa. and with crysis 2 i'd say try it with the aa if you notice better fps without aa then leave it off

Alright thanks! That is great news for me, I'm a big fan of what crytek offers plus I'm going to be using Cryengine3 SDK so I'm sure it'll run that as well. You got the best answer and I'm gonna leave the thread here. I'll be sure to contact you when I'm getting ready for my next build! Thanks for your help!
  18. No Problem!
  19. That is an amazing deal even for a used laptop from a buddy! I am surprised he is selling, it sounds like it is only a year old! And with those specs I would expect him to have some knowledge about computers, well enough to know that he is selling that thing cheap! haha! :D
  20. yep originally bought 04/13/11. He said all he wanted was a little relief on his wallet after buying his desktop parts & I told him about it being cheap. I'll sell it to you for $800 though :D
  21. 800$ is still not a bad price... just next time... Don't mention it lol
  22. It was just a joke :P, I'm not gonna sell it since I couldn't get a better computer for that price so there is really no point. Something better looking would be nice, msi gt680r I believe is the model with the same specs, but better, extremely better, looking.
  23. Wait what? First you say your looking to buy it now your saying your "Not gonna sell it" and now you talking like your in the market for 1.... What du hell?
  24. I just bought it yesterday.

Your use of "1" for one and "du" for the is more confusing than him :sarcastic: :sarcastic: ;)!
But basically he was joking that he would sell me the laptop for 800 and take the profit off of the top. But he said he was just kidding because even 800 is not enough to get a computer with that one's specs right now.
