Differences between Preinstalled SP2 and SP2 upgrade

Hi,

I have 2 computers running WinXP Pro SP2. One of them is a Windows
installer preinstalled SP2 and the other is an upgraded SP2 from SP1.

Does anybody know what are the differences between the preinstalled SP2
and SP2 upgraded computers?

I need to run a costomized application on both computers and the
computer with the preinstalled SP2 gives me popup error messages when I
run the software, whereas the computer with upgraded SP2 does not give
me any error messages.

If I know the differences between this two, I can fine-tune the
software to accommodate the differences.
