I have a m/board with no AGP slot (enough to make you spew). What's the best PCI card I can get my hands on? Help needed. - Bob Noble, Walgett Australia.

You should buy an AGP MB instead with AGP + integrated graphic. It would not cost you much more and would probably gives you about the same performance. And then, if you have money to spend in the future or have an old AGP card, you will be ably to fit it into your new MB.

Buying a Video-PCI card today is a waste of money.

By the way, what is your system spec and CPU model?

I'd second the 9100 pci. I have one in another computer of mine that runs older games such as counter-strike perfect,100fps at 1024x768.

The BEST PCI card you can buy, well that's easy it's The <A HREF="http://www.matrox.com/mga/archive_story/sept2003/p_hr25..." target="_new">HR256</A>!

But for Gaming, yeah the R9100 is the best choice bang/buck IMO.
