Copying Picture Files to CD

Hi! I'm new to this message board (hoping I'm in the right place), and am
having a problem copying pictures from My Pictures folder to CD. At first I
tried copying folders to an existing CD that already has pictures on it. I
have also tried inserting a brand new CD and am still getting the same
message: "There is no disk in the drive. / Please insert a writable CD into
drive D:/...". I'm not a wiz at computer functions (at all!) and was
wondering if someone out there could help me with this. Could be a simple
problem, or not. Thank you! K )
