9700 Pro is faster. 256-bit is faster. 256MB is unecessary. So OF COURSE the 9700 Pro is the better card, probably by around 20%!

the 9700pro 256 bit is the better choice between the 2.

The 9700Pro is the best bang for the buck out right now.

You would even recommend it over the 9800nonpro 256-bit? They have just about identical performance but the 9800np has enhanced shaders.

You can get it for under $140. Excellent price/performance.
