Madden 2003

I just got Madden NFL 2003. I was playing then the PC loads then freezes then restarts. then winxp tells me that it was my radeon8500 that caused the instability. this happens all the time! anyone else have this problem? pleez i need help i really want to play the game. thanx!

athlon xp 1600+ @ 2000+ (unlocked)
radeon 8500 (catalyst 2.3)
winxp pro (no SP1)
crucial 256mb ddr pc2100

Is your video card overclocked or running too hot? That is what usually happens if your card is clocked too high and not completely stable.

There's a post at GameSpot about the game, he's mad as hell and calls it the buggiest game ever. Now there's 1 guy that replies that he is having no problems with the game.
