Hi there, I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop but I know nothing about computers and laptops so I would really appreciate some help!

1. What is your budget?

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

15" +, preferably 17" +

3. What screen resolution do you want?

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

Doesn't matter

5. How much battery life do you need?

Doesn't matter

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Will mainly be playing online games, such as Guild Wars 2 which I'd like to play on decent setting.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

General web browsing, watching videos, movies (blu ray player would be a bonus but not essential)

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

Any sites that post worldwide (I live in the UK)

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

As long as possible, I don't want one that will be outdated in a week

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

Doesn't matter but bluray would be a bonus

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

Any brand

13. What country do you live in?

United Kingdom

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

That's all, thanks so much for reading, and I hope you can help! :)

If you can find a Asus Republic of Gamers laptop in your area and within your budget i would highly recommend it! My company and I got 8 of them to play BF3 at work and we love them!

They should have a $1200 or $1300 laptop that will be perfect for you!

This one is good but I would recommend finding one with a better graphics card. This one only has the GTX 460m which isnt bad you would be able to play everything you want with it but you might be able to get like a GTX 560 or better with that budget.

Good luck!
