Mass storage USb 2.0 non recognized ????? please help !

So this is my computer a p4 running on an Asus p4s800-mx , I've goit Xp Sp
1, and my mass storage usb 2.0 stopped working without reason or new
software installation , I got a external Hard drive and a memory card reader
and they both stopped working, I plug them and the Usb devices are not
recognized ... The thing is that only mass storage are not recognized all
others are (camera, scanner ...).

If I uncheck the USB 2.0 option in my bios ... the mass storage are
recognized and working well ... My hard drive is working everywhere else
perfectly !

The thing is that computer is nearly new and everything was working fine
before until I've plugged a new usb HD !
I did format my disk but nothing changed

Please help me ! can't stand usb 1.0 anymore ..
