Sorry to drag this issue up again but im still having this problem.. ( 2 months now and still no resolution )
If I try to play games such as
the suffering,
Far cry,
Ground control 2,
Gunmetal,
or benchmarking progs
3dmarks 2001 SE,
Bloodshader,
Fill rate test in 3dmarks 03'
I get crashes.
The crashes happen about 10 seconds in to the intro animations, when it loks up, freezes the sound and produces artifacts on screen. The artifacts vary from massive blurring, tearing, blank screens etc....
It occasionaly unfreezes for a few seconds then locks up again.
If Vsync is forced in all applications, this problem doesnt occur.
Ive tried ALL Availiable Nvidia drivers, ( now using whql's )
Flashed Bios on card,
Flashed Mobo,
Upgraded AGP driver,
Upgraded via 4 in 1's
tried DX 9.0 9.0b 9.0c,
removing all non essential components from my PC,
Underclocking GPU and CPU,
Overclocking GPU and CPU,
ensuring bios clock frequencies are identical for 2d/3d,
changing Agp aperture size,
toggling sideband adressing,
toggllng fast writes....etc etc etc
ive tried EVERYTHING I can think of and even spent a fotune on the phone to leadtek in the Netherlands. They said they dont know what the problem is....
If anyone has had this problem ( i saw a few others with similar problems but cant find the posts now ) and has fixed it, please let me know how =(
ATI is looking mighty fine right now.
