Rename shell32 dll on windows 7

try to rename shell32.dll from safe mode with command prompt but i get the message access denied
I used Windows 7 Ultimate
Any ideas?

Why would you rename it and that will obviously cause problems? If you really want to rename it, boot from a USB stick or a DVD and then rename the file. A BartPE or similar boot disk would be useful.

i make a copy of the dll file (obviously i change some icons) and try to replace the original dll file with the new one
