I am currently putting a system together with a K8N Neo Platinum MSI MS-7030 and a AMD Athlon 64 2800+. I am down to the Video Card. I have some really good reviews in THG but..... Really what is the best card for $250 +- $50.00. Personally I prefer nVidia, but am open to suggestions.

6800GT if you can find one for ~$300. Best Buy sold some preorders for that price a few weeks ago by accident.

Youre right on the price bubble there. Id say if you cant find a GT for that price, save a up a little more and get it. Otherwise the next step down is a big drop to a standard 6800 or a 9800 Pro.

I doubt you can find a 6800gt for anywhere near 300$ right now.
But please search boards before you make a post like this. (or maybe just scroll down  ) This question gets answered at least once a day.
Best card for around the 200$ range is the 9800pro. If you can find a x800pro or 6800gt for around 300$ then you are one lucky fellow.
