Icons diappeared!!!!

Every Icon and shorcut except for the Recycle bin has gone blannk. Its as if
the graphics are not recognized by the computer. The same for any icon and
shortcut on a cd.
Any help would be welcome Thank You Andrew

If the problem is seen as of recent, try a System Restore rollback:

If you are getting a desktop with a "Recycle" Bin, then it is seeing
Video.................
