LCD replacement problems

Hi,

I just replaced my cracked LCD screen with a new replacement screen. When I powered on the laptop, the screen did not come on. Went back to square one and checked the connectors to be sure that they were all properly seated.

Powered on he laptop again and still no screen. So just for giggles, I plugged in he cracked LCD and started up the computer, everything works fine. So while the laptop is power on, I unplug the cracked screen and plug in the new screen and BINGO.. I have power and visual.

Now comes my problem, when I restart the computer...the screen doesn't come back on. I have to go through the whole process again. Any suggestions?

I own a Laptop repair company...

Easy answer ...WRONG SCREEN...

You MUST match the numbers on the white stickers on the back of the screens to get the correct screen, then it will work..generic screens (wrong numbers) RARELY work..
