GFx cards, GFx cards...

Okay... we have;
ATI 9550 & 9550SE (assuming take-on of 9600/9600SE) 64mb/128mb
Nvidia 5500 & 5500SE (assuming take-on of 5200/5200SE) 64mb/128mb

Just what are these & are ANY of these any use in a budget system ???

The R9550 is a good entry level card, can be worse and it can be better than the R9600 (the R9550 has a slower core but faster memory).

The FX5500 is still a crummy card in comparison, and the R9550 will leave it behind in alot of games.

The SE for either model should be avoided unless you are stictly doing 2D work. The memory is hobbled compared to the standard models.
