Just "upgraded" from Win98 to XP.

Now when I open file Explorer I find Shared documents, Joe's
Documents, My documents etc etc scattered all over the place and most
of this stuff repeated in more than one place and much of it not
listed under any particular drive which of course is impossible.
I find this a confusing mess.

Can I reconfigure XP so any given file shows in only one place in
Explorer and that place is the actual physical location of that file
on a particular drive and no where else?

Failing that how about a third party file browser that will do this?

When I open Windows Explorer I expect to see the actual physical file
structure of my hard drive and nothing else.

Thanks
Beowulf
