AGP allowed memory

What is the best memory I should give to my graphic card via AGP (I think it's AGP appenture size). I have a MSI FX5900XT 128mb and 768mb RAM but soon 1GB. And what it does?

Newer cards with increased memory rely very little on AGP Aperture. Newer games rely on newer cards with more memory and don't make good use of AGP Aperture. So just get a good card.

3D Mark 2001 seems to have a preference towards 128MB AGP Aperture, but that's just an old benchmark, not a real game.

The AGP Aperature allocates a portion on your system's main memory (ram)for use by the video card.

Set the AGP Aperature to 128MB. When you get one gig of system ram, set it to 256MB
