TECH: INTREPID background problem

Hello, I've an INTREPID board. You know that it is very similar to "THE
PIT".
This is the problem:
the right part of the background is repeated both in the right side and
in the left side. Spites and sound ok.
In other worlds the background is divided exactly in two parts
vertically and in each part you can see the same picture.
Any idea?

anyway, if you know where to download schematics of
intrepid and/or the pit and/or portman....

IIRC, the background circuitry is in that block on top of the pcb.
If yours is epoxied, you're pretty much screwed.

I have two blocks: one epoxied and one not. The problem is shown in
both cases (I tested them with a "THE PIT" pcb and they work).
Is it possible to find schematics?
