Last year I bought the Point-of-View GeForce FX5950ultra, had to save a lot
of €€€ to buy this card. Now months later there's some huge bugz starting.
My temps are rising like hell, which makes it barely impossible to play a game.

So I tried zillion drivers (ForceWare drivers) and Ok the temps went down so
that's ok now.

Just a few months later more sh!t started to rise... Suddenly some weird
green very little blocks became visible on xp desktop and didn't went away
without a reboot !

I started to worry about this so I called the company and told them
my complaint... they staited that It were the drivers I used. So I told
them I tried them all and they didn't respond further. Last friday I e-mailed
the shop were I bought this card and no response ever since....

I've still got guarentee till november, and 2 more years after that. They
should repair my card, and give me some replacer... but they haven't replied
to my mail.. yet.

I am still workin' on this with my shop/company to solve this.. but I wanted
to show you guys what I am talkin' about here.. some screenies included!

These cards are HOT. What's your Case Airflow like? The best cooling in the world will eventually fail if it's just recycling the same hot air over and over.

What sort of case temperatures do you have at the moment?

I would try doing stuff like underclocking the card to see if that helps, or maybe fiddling with your AGP port settings in the BIOS. Just to try to pin down the problem you see.

Its a hot running card that has Fried.
Have you modded it at all? If not, RMA it and hope they give you something faster and/or cooler.

Thats the obvious solution.

Ive seen this before many times and it is normally either a bad omen and/or card's bios flashed giving issues. Normally rebooting fixes it. My AGP card does this when I boot up once a month about, probably toasting it but dont give a sh!t since its an excuse to upgrade ;-)

The only other thing that can be be done as a soft fix is dump the system. Otherwise that card needs to be replaced
