Step by step for installing new card and Cat 4.8?

I've been reading and downloading tweeks. I'm ready to install my new Excalibur X800 XT tonight and I've a couple of questions...

1. Uninstall old drivers prior to new card installation or after?

2. After new card's installed, use new Cat 8 or load everything off of support disk THEN update?

3. Machine is "new" and only has ATI driver's on them do I need a 3rd party driver cleaner? If so which one?

4. Any obvious tweeks or mods I need to do on card installation?

Really to only time you need to go through that much hell is if going from Nvidia card to ATI card. You can uninstall the drivers then shut the machine down, Install new card then turn it on. Reinstall cat drivers then reboot. Thats all should needed to be done.
