Cat 4.8 officially out

It is boasting up to a 12% boost in Doom3 but wondered if this this the same modifications that are in the 4.9beta. Has anymore messed with this driver yet?

my doom3 FPS dropped by 3 by switching to 4.8s from 4.9s
