Hi,

I have a WRT54G that is located on one side of my house, (where the cable
modem is). On the other side of my house I have a weak signal. I have a
WAP54g ordered from buy.com, and is on the way. I have also ran a cat5 drop
from my WRT54G into the attact just above my bedroom. I've seen people on
the board about using the WAP54g to act as a repeater by trying to pick up
the signal from the router, but what I was wanting to do is connect my AP
directly to my router over the cat5 cable to provide signal to the other
side of the house. Do I have this right? Or did I purchase the wrong
equipment?

Thanks,

Kevin

Set your two routers to two different channels at least 5 channels apart
(1,6,11) so your routers don't interfere with other.
