JUST FOR INFORMATION:

With GPUs today having more than twice the transistors of current processors ( The Radeon X800XT weighs in at 160 million transistors, whereas the GeForce 6800 Ultra tips the scales with 222 million, Prescott's transistor count is 125 million, over twice Northwood's 55 million transistors)...people have started using them for much more than they were designed for.

<A HREF="http://www.gpgpu.com" target="_new">http://www.gpgpu.com</A> shows how graphic processors can be used to general purpose computing.

<b><i><font color=red>"With the increasing programmability of commodity graphics processing units (GPUs), these chips are capable of performing more than the specific graphics computations for which they were designed. They are now capable coprocessors, and their high speed makes them useful for a variety of applications."</b></i></font color=red>

We talked about this a year ago:) I believe it was Grape who supplied the linkage (come on... who else were you expec ting?).

Me: are you saying I can't provide?
Me: cause I know I can provide.
Me: oh and I can provide money too;)
Rachel:): why do we need money when we can just stay in our room and have sex all day?

I have to admit, for that trip he talked about, "over the weekend", he sure has been away for a very long period of time, for anything work related, at least.

To be honest, I'm getting kinda worried there! There's no way he couldn't have been able to drop a post updating us on his whereabouts.
