Need help fast

Hi there, I went to a local electronics store today and I found this laptop

http://ic4uae.com/Product.aspx?productid=59073

Now my primary usages for this laptop would be:

- Playing games like League of Legends, Diablo III, Guild Wars 2..... etc
- Editing HD videos recorded from my XBox360
- Watching HD movies and anime
- Heavy multi-tasking

So basically, I'll be using it for gaming and multimedia along with heavy multi-tasking. Ala, I'm looking for a desktop replacement laptop

Based on the specs.... Do you think that this laptop is well-suited for my needs?

Thanks.

  1. depednign on the resolution for games. the GT 650m can generally get games on 1336x768 on high settings on the heavy games. If you dont mind having the settings maxed in gaming, then it can fit your need.
  2. Yaddatk15,

-As far as the game you listed it seems fine.
-For HD video editting, you might have some small issues with the 650, its not a workhorse GPU.
-Watching HD movies, you would be-able to watch 1080p, it would just scale down to your resolution of 1600x900.
    -Multitasking shouldn't be a problem.

Other than the 1600x900 resolution, the laptop seems fine for your needs.
  3. I am aware that the 1600X900 resolution isn't Full HD

    Is this a bad thing?
  4. Also, is the Graphics card bad?
  5. its higher up in a general sense but it definately isnt bad. its around teh 550ti area pcmark score wise.
  6. So would u say that it can play most modern games on at least med?

And is having a 1600X900 a bad thing for HD Video Editing and playing games?
