Well, I've finally got my new rig quiet. I just got rid of that whiney Spire Kestrell III CPU Cooler and installed the Thermaltake K8.... Ah now I can hear again without that high pitched squeal in my ear. Twice the fan, half the rpms and none of the noise. When combined with my Neopower 480 and regular case fans on the Wavemaster... I've finally one quiet rig.

i hear people talking about noisy components. wtf is that about? all my setups have ever done is sound like a huge fan blowing a feather across the room. do i not have something in my case that others do? something... huge and... powerful? i wonder what i can do to change this... cuz i like my hardware to be just as loud as my women... bwahaha
