Every time I start up my computer i get a message that says welcome to the
setup wizard, it is recommended that all other programs are closed and so
fourth, but then when i hit next I get this message Setup cannot continue on
NT based systems. I'm running on Windows XP, and this happens every time i
reboot my computer is there anyway to solve this?

Try booting up to your Windows XP CD and Running a Repair on your OS.
