I have a Lenovo Y480 "Gaming" Laptop, and up until yesterday I was sure my graphics card didn't work at all. I've finally gotten it to work (I think), but it isn't working well at all.
I plugged it in and put everything on "MAX" settings. I went into NVidia Control Panel and set to use my 640M instead of the integrated graphics for games and such, and CPU-Z finally recognized that I have it. Good. But it also shows that the video memory for my 2GB card is only 64mb. What's up with that?

Sorry Junky, I meant I plugged the laptop in. The laptop won't do anything to do with the graphics card without being plugged in. Already installed the latest drivers as well.
