Greetings, again. The reset button on the vector generator board is
sticking in my Battlezone project. I finally desoldered the button and
couldn't get it to work right. I know this button is a SPST switch.
My question is this, is this button normally closed or normally open?
And would a typical switch from Radio Shack be a good substitute?

It's a N.O. switch, any N.O. switch will work as long as you get one that
physically fits.
