A friend of mine has a computer that came with a 64MB ATI X300 PCIE. He wants to know if that is better than the ATI 9200 128MB card that he already has.

If the X300 has a 128-bit memory interface it's probably a bit better; if it has a 64-bit memory interface (X300LE or X300SE) it's probably a bit worse.

Either way, the X300 is probably better overclocked. Tell him to go to town.

Run a couple of benchmark on the X300 and compare them to the THG VGA Chart 3 results!
