My cuputer crashed while installing windows. Did i do damage.

While i was loading windows for the first time on the new computer i built the whole system crashed because of a CPU temp failure. Intel decided to save itself half a penny and they skimped on the thermal compound on my cpu cooler. My question is could i have done any serious damage to my system since I was in the middle of installing windows when it happend. It crashed while it was doing the initial load from the boot disk about three or four minutes after I initially put in the disk in the DVD/CD reader. Thanks for the Help

As long as the CPU isn't damaged I think you're in the clear.

You'll have to format the hard drive and restart your installation - that's it.
