Errors during XP Pro SP2 install

I have been trying for the past week to install a new copy of XP Pro onto my
computer. During the installation process in which it copies the files to the
hard drive I recieve numerous errors stating that filename.dll/exe did not
copy correctly. I have tried another harddrive another optical drive and
different memory, yet I still get the same results. Any ideas how to resolve
this?

Hi,

Have you tried any other OS?
Checked for a BIOS update?
Does it always error out at the same point?
