Thats a big lap-burn top not to mention its weight. Must be producing some amt of heat enough to burn the lap. But then again who plans to do gaming with the laptop on the lap (unless u r in a bus). Also I bet with all that stuff in it (I remeber seeing some article that said it incorporates a desktop HDD), the amt of power its must be using, makes its not good for too much use while carrying around.

I love sitting on the couch with the laptop on my lap (where it should be) and playing. However even the 2.8ghz P$ is pumping out serious heat for me and I'll wait until it cool enough that I can wear a pad ontop of trackpants to isolte the temperature. The bottoms not so bad, but the exhaust fan nails my right kneecap.

Anyways, these are really becoming more transportables than true notepads/laptops. I think their competition is the SFF. This is for someone who wants some battery usage, but also the power to use it as a multi-media rig (even for office presentations), the dual monitor support out the back is nice, but not limited in it's use IMO.

maybe one should design a lap-burn protector some lightweigtht stuff keeping computer as well as the lap cool.

yeah, thats the worst u can do, man ur gaming u need a firm surface not a nice fat pillow. Also a pillow will keep the laptop more heated. I would say something like <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000V08OC/qid=1095130393/sr=8-6/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i6_xgl60/104-0036392-0355163?v=glance&s=home-garden&n=507846" target="_new">this</A> but more ergonomic. Need it to be as low as possible to prevent our hands from hurting.

Computer base also has an early loo at the GF6600GT GO, but unfortunately strap it to a 1.87ghz dothan, thus limiting any comparison.
