Early GF6800Us may have potential firmware problem

Seems there's some serious stuttering in benchmarks like 3Dmk01/03.

If it's a serious issue, but only found in early versions, it sounds like a BIOS update may be required, but if they use a good loader program this could be an easy fix.

It also appears to be a specific driver set 61.77.

It may also be some GTs with iffy BIOSes, not just the Ultras.

It'll be interesting to see what's up, but it looks likenV's already suggesting updating the BIOS. Flash your graphics card for stability for a change. :lol:

I suspect there may be a bunch of people who might need them, very popular cards, but may never know to upgrade. Depending on impact they may never experience a problem.
