wierd, are u installing just the CCC or the CCC+driver bundle ?

If not with driver bundle, try that.

You have to instal the Intel INF update from the motherboard CD before you instal your other drivers.

Congrats on buying the biggest scam of a motherboard in the industry.

It requires port access that Zone Alarm blocks. There have been other that had the same problem at rage.

I manage to install the control center by removing the 7000 video card. I tried to get Far Cry up and running with 2 monitors but it only made a mirror in the right monitor, so its not possible to play games in 2 or more monitors with the control center :-(
After I installed the 7000 card and got it too work on all 3 monitors, but not all the functions worked as I shouldt, so the conclusion is that ATI control center don’t support 2 video cards, so now i installed my Ultramon software for multi monitors again.

ATI don’t make good enough drivers and software for multimonitores try too look on what Matrox do to support surroundgaming : http://www.matrox.com/mga/3d_gaming/surrgame.cfm
The problem is that thy don’t have high performance video cards as ATI and NVIDIA, so right now I will keep my video cards and hope that maybe PCI Express will solve the problem whit surroundgaming ??

I been looking in a lot off forums to solve my problem and I now a a lot of you will say that its possible to change config files in games and so on, but I want simple solutions to play my games in surround gamming

Do anybody knows if ATI and NVIDIA have any plans to make cards too support sorroundgaming ?? and isn’t there a lot people ho want to play in surround ??

ATI doesn't have plans, but MSI (an ATI board partner) said they had plans to offer surround gaming with a feature caled surround-view with ATIs forthcoming RS4xx boards (480 IIRC).

I've been waiting for a while, and it's always been my focus on multiple PCIe/AGP cards.

An X600 or even X300 for the surround monitors and a X800/GF6800 for the main monitor would be a nice idea. Even if it required and X700/GF6600 to run surround I'd go for that. It'll be interesting to see what the setup would be with the RS480 which is essentially an R9600SE chip, which would likely drive one surround monitor and then the add-in card would drive one other surround and the main.

I found this link: http://www.nvidia.com/page/sli.html

It describe that “2 nvidia sli cards” in PCI Express slot, is working together to boost the performance - just like the old woodoo days :)

It don’t describe if its possible to use it for surround gaming ?? do anyone knows if there are goner be any support for that ??

They both officially say, NO, but 'we won't rule anything out for the future'.

Thanks for the tip about SLI, I had NO Idea!

I just been in to “MSI” homepage and searching for surround gaming, etc.
But the only thing I could find was a motherboard that have a ati integrated in it, so it had surround”view” – not gaming!

Do you have a link on what there are working on ??

This is from way back in the beginning of the year when the revelation first came out it's implications were unknown then and still remain a little vague;

That's what I'm basing it on.

What are you talking about man!

We can already do it with MATROX!

Anywhoo, it's the first step IMO. And if the idea of surround gaming is to survive then someone else has to do it, because even Matrox is nearing the end of their gaming, since they let most of their gamer relations guys go last fall.

Well, last night I installed CCC and it is kind of unstable, but overall I think it's a neat interface and I don't really have any complaints. Unfortunately the install package is huge, so people with dial-up forget about it.

Note to ATi: Please make sure your software works before you release it. CCC functions as well as your old drivers from four years ago.
