alf2cd.acm (Windows Media Player)

Hello,

I have 2 problems

1. An .avi movie in div3 that needs this alf2cd.acm codec which I've managed
to find. I have added the file to E:\WINDOWS\system32 as instructed &
mplayer10 still can't find it. Is there a way of installing this file or
forcing mplayer10 to find it?

2. When I push the mute button in mplayer10, it mutes like it's suppose to
but the moment I skip thru the file using the slider bar it comes off mute
but the button shows as mute. An Unusual problem!!!

If anybody can help me out to has any ideas I would be most grateful.
