Hey mate,
i have a few of them... they are *ok*... but i dont think they really
give you a good place to start working to repair. They give you an
overview of how the systems work.
i have:
Introduction to Digital Electronics
Troubleshooting Microprocessor Based Systems
The first one, i knew pretty much just by reading a bunch of stuff on
the web, so i wouldnt recommend it. The second one is better and gives
you an idea of what happens in a board and some of the tools used to
troubleshoot. Saying that, i have not been able to use *anything* in
this vid as everything i get a hold of seems to be 10x more complicated
than anything else...
my suggestion? read about digital electronics... and buy the TMBS. its
worth a watch... but dont expect to be able to fix something straight
off the bat. I still have a pile of boards to work thru yet.
hope this helps,
-nat
